It was a long time ago since I have been glad to be proven wrong. In my previous posting titled “Cerita Lama Penceritaan Baru”, I wrongfully predicted that BN will sweep all 3 bye elections of Bukit Selambau, Bukit Gantang and Batang Ai. To me, at the time of writing, Batang Ai is definitely a shoo-in for Barisan. I was right. If at all Pakatan Rakyat wins in Bukit Gantang, I predicted a narrow margin. Bukit Selambau however is a total surprise for me. With the release of the 2 HINDRAF laywers from Kemunting, I would expect that the indians there, would switch to Barisan in droves. Thanks to Allah, I am wrong.
To all Malaysians, especially the melayu kampong, cina bukit and india estet, please accept my apologies, for casting aspersions on your ability to think straight. And thank you, for agreeing with me, that like a leopard, the Barisan Nasional can never changed it’s spot. I believed that’s why, you, the voters of Bukit Selambau and Bukit Gantang has taken the courageous step of kicking BN’s butt. Let’s hope our brothers and sisters in Sarawak catch up with us and show BN the exit. Let’s hope our ability to separate between the devil and the deep blue sea remains with us for a long, long time.
To all lovers of BN especially of UMNO, please remind UMNO leaders that the rakyat is no longer completely blind but can see through your charade. To all BN wakil rakyats, please look at your position as a ticket to serve your electorate and country and not as a means to rape and pillage public funds for your’s, your families’ and cronies’ pocket.

p/s, talking about about BN's 2 defeat in Bukit Selambau and Bukit Gantang and 1 win in Batang Ai, ASP Khaizam has this to say about the situation.
"BN kalah di dua bukit tapi menang satu batang".
In English it goes something like this. "BN losses at 2 hills but won at 1 rod. "
